We are so excited. Little MAE and I went to see Moe Moe ("Gramma") and her new home yesterday. Moe-Moe's new house is currently under construction and this was our first trip to see it.
Although it is sad to see our old family house with a for sale sign in the yard,
I must say that it is SO EXCITING to see the new family home being built!
Moe Moe and Pop Pop's new house is a cute little craftsman home. The exterior of the home looks like it belongs in Minnesota. I don't know exactly why, but I seriously imagined seeing moose in the front yard. It is so adorable! I loved the little plants in the front yard - there was even a little japanese maple and some cute little evergreen pine looking shrubs. (I forgot my camera again but above is a picture I found online taken just before the landscaping went in.)
Inside the house - the builder spared no expense for detail. Every nook and crannie has molding and there is waynes coating throughout - even in the laundry room.
I just love this house! I wish I could buy one just like it!
Little MAE loved running around the empty bare rooms.
He said, "Moe Moe, you got to get some potties". Ha Ha!
Not that he uses them often!
We laughed and left for a coffee and cookie at Caribou.

P.S. Caribou Coffee - you really must stock up on Chocolate Chip Cookies! I love you but if you are going to keep up with Starbucks, you need to offer cookies.

LOOKS GREAT! How exciting for them. John and I would LOVE a new house with more room, but, alas, it is not going to happen anytime soon.
